Why do we deep clean?

As a high standard decontamination service, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is worn throughout the process. Our technicians are provided with individually fitted and sealed face masks. Combination gas filters use cartridges suitable for viruses including Covid-19.  

Once we’re on our way

Please go through our checklist before we arrive to protect your business and your health, which is our top priority during the Covid-19 pandemic.

• We require all people and your employees to leave the building as promptly as possible. Our decontamination requires the building to be empty of people during the process and for a few hours after.
  
  
• If you have to enter the building for any reason before we arrive, wear PPE (including FFP3 face masks if available).
  
  
• Maintain stringent hygiene practice at all times. Wash hands or disinfect with 60% alcohol hand sanitiser whenever touching high-contact surfaces. These include handrails, door handles and office equipment.
  
  
• Alert people in the building of the issue and put a notice up if possible.
  
  
• Keep all non-essential persons out of the building area affected.

How do you maintain decontamination after treatment?

Our fogging technology leaves a non-toxic on all surfaces. This coating creates a barrier that is non-tacky and safe within hours after we leave. The time before re-occupying a building depends on the ventilation in your building. The layer breaks down the virus on contact and renders it unable to transmit the disease itself. Moreover, bacteria and fungi also are eradicated and cannot multiply on the surface. Keeping the air decontaminated though will need regular air treatment, although covid-19 remains infectious in the air for only several hours. On non-treated surfaces such as plastic, metal and wood, the virus remains transmittable for approximately 72 hours.  This is with the exception of cardboard and copper where it remains infectious for 24 hours. With our fogging technology however, viruses break down on contact with the surface. It continues to do so long after treatment.

The majority of virus transmission happens from touching high-contact surfaces. This means that our decontamination eradicates and continues to tackle the highest risk factor.
